Most of you that have seen my previous two blogs on origami towel folding know that I love creating towel desgins and I use them in my home staging projects as signature props. I want to share how I used one of my creations in an actual home staging project. I love staging areas that most folks ignore or don't take the time to stage but I find areas like the laundry room and closets a perfect place to add some extra interest that buyers will remember. So here is how using origami towel objects in home staging helped me with this laundry room. The owners loved this as it added something different, unexpected and interesting to the laundry area which is ususally ignored.
This origami towel shirt was made with one bath towel and the buttons are 3 pennies. How cute is this and definitely a conversation starter!

Mannie, How creative. I did not notice that that was not even a real shirt until you pointed it out. And staging something in the laundry room does make the house seem lived in. Thanks for sharing. ---Gloria
Thanks so much for posting this, Mannie. Things like these set us apart from the norm.

Thanx Debra - I'm so glad you enjoyed this.
Reminds me when I was on a cruise a couple of years ago. We would come back to our cabin every night to a new creature. We kept them all for the week as we couldn't bear to unfold them.
Hi Cindy - LOL!! I have that problem too! Once I create these I don't want to unfold them it just seems wrong! Thanx for stopping by.
This is a really creative way to showcase a looked-over room like the laundry room. I just love this idea.
Hi Jim & Maria - I'm thrilled you like it and it definitely adds something unique to a boring laundry room.
I found this post through Debra's reblogg and I'm so glad I did. Now I have to go and check out the other posts on the subject! I didn't even know that was a towel...very clever!
