The Staging Fashionista Blog: Adding Value and Usable Space Through Home Staging

Adding Value and Usable Space Through Home Staging

Home staging can add value and usable space to a home.  This was particularly true for this home that was staged by The Staging Fashionista.  It  had nice basement space but was not showing off its true potential.  Basements add square footage to a home which equals to value so why not show it off and give buyers something more than a room without purpose.

Basement Before Staging had no focal point or purpose

Basement After Staging now shows the true space potential and value added

Hi Mannie-

Those photos sure so show a world of difference!  It's amazing what  little calculated colorization and placement will do to pull a room together.

Hello Mannie,

Love the accent rug & the wall hangings!  You did a wonderful job in the room transformation - plus you used the homeowners stuff!  I always enjoy seeing the before & after shots.  Have a great weekend!

Gosh, is that the same sofa?  It looks brand new, now that you've straightened it up and added those nice accent cushions.

Hi Mannie,

Great job giving a boring space a much more welcoming feel!

Hi Debbie - this was a fun space to do especially since the homeowner had all the things needed to do the space and make it inviting.  They loved the unto game idea.

Very nice job Mannie. The rug really anchors the room and pulls it together.

Hi Michelle - thanx for the compliment.  I felt that I needed the rug as a foundation to make everything come together.
